Problem Statement

ABInBev's product onboarding and launch process involved multiple business teams, committees, and multi-stage approvals — but there was no centralized system to track progress, ownership, or dependencies. Teams coordinated manually, causing delays, missed handoffs, and limited visibility into where products were in the lifecycle.

Our Approach

Engaged with cross-functional stakeholders across product, operations, branding, and distribution teams to map the end-to-end product launch lifecycle. Translated complex committee approval chains into structured, guided UX workflows that reduced ambiguity and improved ownership clarity at every stage.

Challenge

Designing a multi-committee enterprise workflow platform capable of handling a complex, multi-stage product lifecycle — from initial concept through vendor and dealer distribution — while providing clear visibility, accountability, and structured progression for cross-functional teams.

Solution

Designed a centralized product lifecycle management platform with committee-based workflow structure, multi-stage approval tracking, step-by-step guided operational flows, role-based access and responsibilities, and a product status dashboard providing real-time visibility from concept to customer delivery.

Outcome

Improved product launch visibility and simplified committee coordination across departments. Reduced manual operational effort, accelerated approval turnaround, and gave leadership a clear real-time view of product progression across all lifecycle stages.
