Problem Statement

Healthcare facilities across Tier-2 Indian cities faced high staff vacancy rates due to a broken recruitment experience that failed both hiring managers and healthcare job seekers — with no structured credential verification or specialty-specific matching available on existing platforms.

Our Approach

Conducted ethnographic research in hospitals across Hyderabad and Vizag. Designed with progressive disclosure to accommodate both tech-savvy urban users and rural healthcare workers — prioritizing trust signals, credential verification, and low-bandwidth performance throughout.

Challenge

Building a trust-first recruitment platform for a market with variable digital literacy, connectivity constraints, and high-stakes professional verification requirements that existing general-purpose job platforms were not designed to handle.

Solution

Designed Vaidyog as a verification-first healthcare job platform with specialty-specific matching, credential verification workflows, instant communication, and an offline-friendly interface accessible on entry-level Android devices.

Outcome

MVP launched with healthcare institutions onboarded across Tier-1 and Tier-2 cities. Achieved high job-seeker profile completion rate and significantly reduced average time-to-hire compared to existing platforms used by target facilities.
